DESCRIPTION:Milestones are important stepping stones as we grow into becoming God’s disciples. We are planning a ministry milestone for each age group once a year. At 9:45 on a Milestone Sunday the child and a parent or guardian will join us in the Gathering Space to talk about this new milestone and to get to know other families who are in the same stage of life. We want to invite your children to bring their backpacks to any of our worship services on August 16 to receive a special blessing as they commit themselves to study and learning in the school year ahead.

We’re changing things up this August\, but don’t want to leave you GLAZED and confused\, so here’s the HOLE story! \nBring your backpacks to worship on August 16 for the blessing of the backpacks in our worship services. During the Sunday School time frame (9:45-10:30)\, we are excited to welcome kids and their parents to their new Sunday School classes and enjoy a delicious donut! To help us with crowd management\, we will work with a loose schedule on this fun morning: \n\n9:45 am – Families with last names beginning with A-L\, join us in the Children’s Ministry space\, find your new classroom\, and meet your teachers! Families with last names beginning with M-Z\, join us in the Fellowship Hall for the donut buffet!\n10:10 am – Families with last names beginning with A-L will adjourn to the Fellowship Hall for the donut buffet. Families with last names beginning with M-Z\, join us in the Children’s Ministry space\, find your new classroom\, and meet your teachers!\n\nYou DONUT want to miss out!
