SUMMARY:Way of the Cross Processional
DESCRIPTION:Homewood Way of the Cross is an annual Good Friday ecumenical procession through our neighborhood. Beginning at 2:00 pm at Homewood Central Park\, clergy and neighbors from multiple congregations will walk together\, following a carried wooden cross and reflecting on the last hours of Jesus’ life through scripture\, song\, and prayer. Along the way\, the procession will pause for moments of prayer at several local churches before concluding at Edgewood Presbyterian Church. All are welcome to take part in this meaningful community tradition.

Join Trinity in the Sanctuary of the Oxmoor campus for a moving service of worship and music as we reflect on the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and the weight of the cross. The service will conclude in darkness\, marking the somberness of this sacred night and preparing our hearts for the hope of Easter. Nursery will be available.
