SUMMARY:Milestone Ministry - 5th Graders
DESCRIPTION:Milestones are important stepping stones as we grow into becoming God’s disciples. We are planning a ministry milestone for each age group once a year. At 9:45 on a Milestone Sunday the child and a parent or guardian will join us in The Haven to talk about this new milestone and to get to know other families who are in the same stage of life. Please register online and let us know if you will be joining us! \nAt this Milestone we will be learning about the move out of the kids’ department and into the youth department. We will cover information for the fall like Confirmation\, the process by which 6th graders learn more about essential faith topics and decide if they are ready to join the church. The Element staff will also be present to walk you through basics for what to expect for the fall of next year. \nIf your child would like to go through Confirmation\, it is mandatory that your family attend this milestone.
